Visitor 5/22/2024 Parents and Guardians This week we found some graffiti on a desk where someone had written a threatening message about a school shooting occurring on 5/23/2024. We’ve been looking into the matter to try and figure out who is responsible. Our school resource officer has also been involved. After interviewing several students, we’ve been unable to identify who wrote the message but we are continuing to investigate. We do not believe there is any credible threat and the message was most likely written to try and scare others or cause a disruption. We wanted to make you aware of the situation because there are some rumors and misinformation that has started to circulate. As always, we trust your judgment as the caregiver if you choose to keep your student home. Hemos estado investigando el asunto para tratar de averiguar quién es el responsable. Nuestro oficial de recursos escolares también ha estado involucrado. Después de entrevistar a varios estudiantes, no hemos podido identificar quién escribió el mensaje, pero seguimos investigando. No creemos que exista ninguna amenaza creíble y lo más probable es que el mensaje haya sido escrito para tratar de asustar a otros o causar una interrupción. Queríamos informarles de la situación porque hay algunos rumores y desinformación que ha comenzado a circular.
