Tip: PowerSchool works best on a desktop browser. The app does not support payments.

📝 Registration Forms on PowerSchool (Available July 28)

Access and complete registration forms online through your PowerSchool Parent Portal:

  • On a web browser: Click Forms from the left-hand menu.

  • On the app: Tap the three dots at the bottom right → FormsGeneral Forms.

Please update emergency contacts while completing forms. Students cannot be checked out by anyone not listed on their contact list.

7th graders must have updated immunizations records turned into the nurse at the counseling office or emailed to masmith7@wsd.net

🗂 Class Schedules

Schedules will be available starting August 5 via PowerSchool.

We have received multiple inquiries about 7th grade students having two math classes on their schedule. This is not an error. This is a district-wide effort to support our students as they adjust from the elementary to the secondary setting. Historically, we have room for improvement in our 7th grade math performance. We are always looking for ways we can improve to help our students, and this intervention is one that we feel will elevate our school and district.

Also, special education services may not be clearly labeled on your child’s schedule. This is because many students receive support within general education classrooms or during Flex time, rather than in a separate, scheduled class. For more information about Special Education Services on your students schedule click here.

Class changes will be available August 25-29th. If there are errors to a schedule email your counselor.

💵 Class Fees and Yearbook

We strongly encourage families to pay fees online and purchase a yearbook early (before the January 30 deadline). Also, don't forget to add Lunch Money to your Students Lunch Account

  • On a web browser in PowerSchool, go to the bottom left menuPayments and Purchases.

  • Fee payments are not available in the app.

If you need financial assistance, please apply for a Fee Waiver. You can also apply for free/reduced lunch!

📸 Picture Day

Friday, August 22
Bell Photography will take school pictures for yearbooks and student ID cards. (Missed or re-takes will be Tuesday, September 30th) More information here.

Students will receive their ID cards after pictures. IDs are required for:

  • School lunch

  • Library checkouts

  • And more

🚌 Busing

To check if your student qualifies for bus service, use the Bus Stop Locator. Note: Bus routes are subject to change, especially before school starts—check the day before!

🍴 School Lunch

Students must have their ID (or a photo of it with the barcode on their phone) to get lunch after picture day. Students without ID will wait until those with IDs have gone through the line. This system helps speed up lines and gives everyone more time to eat.

Reminder: Don't forget to add money to your students lunch account. You must reapply for Free/Reduced Lunch every school year.

📵 Cell Phone Policy

Sand Ridge and Weber School District will follow the State of Utah's electronic device policy.

During instructional time, devices must not be seen or heard—anywhere in the school.

  • Students may use phones before/after school, between classes, and during lunch (in approved areas).

  • School phones are available in the main and counseling offices if needed during instructional time.

Research shows that device use is a major distraction to learning. We’re committed to helping students focus, grow, and succeed!
